
its a 40" 3D display produced by a new-ish company called ALIOSCOPY. The coolest thing about the screen is that is does not require any 3D Glasses to see 3D Images. This works using Autostereoscopy technology.
Alioscopy will be present at a several Autodesk and Softimage events at Siggraph. They will be touting the ability to view rendered out images from Max, Maya, XSI, Lightwave, and Cinema 4D. What would be really cool, would be if they figured out how to tap into the frame buffers of any of those packages (combined with hardware output cards) to get real time 3D output while working!
